This is a Lyle Dickerson 9', 2 piece Model 9016 bamboo fly rod in near mint condition.

We would say the bamboo blank is completely scuff free but think that someone with a microscope might find one. There are certainly no obvious scratches, marks or nicks on the blank. The guides are also in excellent condition and appear to be original wrappings. The ferrule junctions are still very tight but do have a few scuffs from assembling and use.

The cork grip shows light use and appears to be a half-wells style. Above the grip, in cursive is "George Bennett 1958" and "Dickerson 9016". The rod comes with 2 tips and the original fold over cloth.

The tube may be an original and says "Fred Glass Detroit, USA". Rod weight is 5/6. It does not come with a bottom grip.

Rod weighs 5.7 ounces with either tip
