Motor City Anglers is a large consignee of used fly rods, reels and other fly fishing products including gear bags, and boats.

Here is how it works:

Bring your gear to the shop and we can discuss with you your timeframe and ideal sale prices. We can work to sell product quickly or for the best price - it's up to you. We photograph and write up a description of the gear. We then list the products on all of our sales channels (web, Instagram, Shopify, eBay and instore.)

Once the item sells, we give the buyer 14 days for inspection. After the 14 days, you can receive either cash or store credit.

If you choose store credit, we do not charge a commission. You will receive the sale price less any selling fees such as shipping, insurance and credit card fees

If you choose cash, we deduct our commission of 20%, and and selling fees mentioned above.
