With the white calf tail wings this fly is easy to track in the low light periods and it floats like a cork. It's reassuring to know your is still fishing and floating high in the dark.

Like the Isonychia version of this fly, it has a very fishy appeal to it. The Boondoggle Spinner can be fished during the daytime emergence and more typical evening timeframes.
